This past thursday I headed over to Pacha to catch two parties, at the same time!  The headlining act that night was Eddie Halliwell (click the link for the post on fckntlntd).  && A new monthly party on the second floor had a line-up of 6 incredeble DJ's including DJ Slick Nick, Valerie Valentine, NXNY, MR Vega, KLM of TBMA, WC Kids and Vulpes, you can find out more about the event at the event post for GUM here, and go ahead and 'like' GUM parties on fb to find out more and attend their upcoming events!

I got to shoot Pacha NYC a couple weekends ago, it's a copy of a legendary club in Ibiza. It was really fun and that club is amazing for photographs!  I hope I get to go back sometime soon. I am backed up on some sets right now; Nero & Boys Noize but I am home for the holiday so they will be coming soon!!!  (:

YEH, this week so far I have been spending every waking moment looking at apartments && at school (or doing school work) + I turned 21 yesterday.  Anyhow, I have three photo sets that are coming very soon.  Tiga + Soulwax (live) from 9/2; then the set from Nero @ girls & boys on 9/4 && finally breakbot @Yotel on 9/5.  I promise I'll get them up before the week is over, I have a long weekend ahead of me also ;)

Well, I've added a lot to my website since my last post about the Creators Project.. 

I got to shoot many artist's in the span of a couple days partly due to CMJ here in NY, and also thanks to AM Only and HARDfest.  

AraabMUZIK, Knife Party, Alvin Risk, AC Slater, Dillon Francis, Gesaffelstein, Joker, Skream + Benga .. Just to name a few.  Just go ahead over to the Photo section of my website and check it all out!  I promise you won't be disappointed.

This past weekend I covered the Creators Project event in DUMBO and got to see a couple artists that I really love.. 

Four Tet (!!) played underneath the archway of the manhattan bridge while the sun was going down .. Once it was dark they were doing projections onto the archway.. (most amazing thing, I cannot even explain in words how surreal that was)

I finally got to see Nosaj Thing!  Ever since I saw a video of him almost a year ago I've been dying to see him live and somehow it happened … I have a video also that will be online eventually.. 

Then I went to see Justice for the short amount of time they played before the NYPD shut the party down.. I still am not sure why, but the crowd started chanting "Fuck the Police" so that was pretty awesome..

This past friday I had the privilege of shooting Wolfgang Gartner, a Girls & Boys Presents event at Webster Hall for my blog Fckn Tlntd! Webster was the most packed I have ever seen it  & I've been there countless times.  Dallask opened for him among others and the night felt like it was going to last forever (in the best way possible).  I am grateful I got to be a part of this out of control party!  Cannot wait until the next time I can shoot a Girls & Boys event. :)

okay, so it took awhile, but my site is finally live and all of the HQ versions of my photos from last saturday night are up!  Saturday was seriously amazing, I met a lot of really awesome people.. and I cannot wait to party with them again.  It was extremely successful and it was only the second Reconstrvct event so far.  I have a feeling this event is going to go far, and I can't wait to see it grow.  Check out the fb page to learn more & the next event is going to be Nov. 26th.  Also, to tag yourself in the photos, or make them your prof pics.. check out the set on my fb page and also go ahead and like Roslyn Julia Photography for future updates and news!!!
